2023 Colorado performance specs

The 2023 Colorado delivers all the capabilities you require from your compact truck, and it all starts with a muscular new powertrain. All models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a 2.7-liter turbo engine that’s available in three different configurations.

The standard option gives you 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque; Turbo Plus boasts 310 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque; and Turbo High-Output upgrades torque to 430 lb-ft. At its peak, the Colorado can tow up to 7,700 pounds or haul a payload of up to 1,710 pounds.

Must-have functional features

The Colorado’s rugged, purposeful design extends its capabilities even further. The bed fits 41.9 cubic feet of cargo and is easy to access with the standard CornerStep bumper. Three-tier loading, up to 17 cargo tie-downs, and available bed lighting and reconfigurable bed rails add extra functionality. You can also opt for the new StowFlex Tailgate, which incorporates a lockable, drainable storage compartment and a mid-position setting for carrying longer items.

Off-road readiness

Trail Boss models add a 2-inch factory lift and an ultra-wide stance for better off-road handling. The ZR2 delivers even greater capabilities with a 3-inch lift, a high-performance suspension, and Multimatic DSSV™ dampers. It also comes with e-locking front and rear differentials and an extra Baja drive mode setting for high-performance off-road adventures.

High-value enhancements

The 2023 Colorado packs plenty of high-value features inside its roomy, five-seat crew cab. A new 11.3-inch touch screen pairs with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, giving you modern features like wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, Google built-in services, and Wi-Fi® hotspot capability. On most trims, you can also opt for convenient amenities like a new floor-mounted center console, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a wrapped steering wheel.

The Colorado also helps you stay protected and confident with the standard Chevy Safety Assist suite. This package comes with Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking to help you avoid or mitigate crashes. Following Distance Indicator, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam® auto high beams are included, too.
